Igniting Transformational Change

May 4 @ 8:45 am 9:45 am

Sparking change and recognizing its impact on the organization’s culture during these turbulent days of staffing shortages, reimbursement cuts, and the lingering effect of the pandemic is paramount to leading a successful agency. Gina Mazza and Rey Spadoni will examine how operating in this dynamic, complex environment while facing unprecedented disruption requires leaders to focus on behavior and culture change while developing strategies for optimizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Participants will learn three tangible and practical strategies and tactics to lead their team and organization forward.

Gina Mazza MBA, BSN, RN, CPHQ is a national leader in regulatory and compliance issues. She manages one of the largest OASIS and compliance groups in the country. She has spearheaded several of Fazzi’s national best practice initiatives and was the clinical expert on Fazzi’s National State of the Industry study. Gina has held nursing executive-level positions in multiple home health and hospice organizations in Western Massachusetts. For the past 20 years, she has been an owner/partner of a national research and consulting firm that serves community-based healthcare organizations throughout the country.

Rey Spadoni, interim president of Tufts Medicine Care at Home, is an experienced leader, author, speaker, and consultant with a demonstrated track record of success working in the healthcare industry. He is a team builder and skilled communicator who specializes in organizational transformations, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial and operational turnarounds. Focus areas include mission-driven not-for-profits and community-based organizations that help improve the lives of those who are most vulnerable.  He is the author of Amazon’s bestseller: “Saving Organizations That Matter: Ascending from the Confluence of Chaos.”
