Spotlight on the Home Health Clinical Manager
May 3 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Providing the ‘right’ patient care requires the collaboration of the entire clinical team. While the admitting clinician is responsible for identifying the ‘right’ focus of care, it is the responsibility of the Clinical Manager to routinely teach, assess, and supervise the care from admission to discharge with the help of industry standards. This presentation highlights the importance of the clinical manager concerning patient care, quality measures, and financial outcomes. The Clinical Manager is the most critical link to the success of a home health organization.

Maryanna Arsenault, BSW, MPA, director of operations consulting and interim management, Corcoran Consulting Group, assists clients in improving care, reducing administrative burdens, and increasing reimbursement. Arsenault is a national speaker and accredited with the Commission for Healthcare (ACHC)-certified consultant for hospice, home health, and private duty organizations.

Jean Zaleski, PT, MEd, DPT, is a physical therapist with more than two decades of experience in home health as a clinician and clinical leader. Her career focus includes providing high-quality patient-centered care and documentation, promoting cross-continuum care transitions, managing chronic disease, and preventing injury and rehospitalization. Jean has served in leadership positions with Holyoke VNA and Hospice Life Care, Mercy Home Care, and VNA Care Home Health and Hospice.
