About Michael Uzar
Michael Uzar, MJ, PT, DPT, CPHRM is a healthcare risk management professional and founder of Rehab Risk Consulting with a blend of clinical expertise and health law and compliance insight. As a licensed Physical Therapist with experience in both health system Clinical Risk Management and Risk & Insurance Management, he brings a practical, operations-focused approach to improving safety, compliance, and outcomes across healthcare organizations.
Michael holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law, along with a Certificate in Compliance Studies. He is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM). In his current role as Principal Risk Consultant and founder of Rehab Risk Consulting, he partners with healthcare organizations and businesses to provide fractional risk management services, risk education, and interim support. He has experience working clinically in home health agencies and as a risk professional supporting home healthcare operations.
