Ensuring the safety of our home care workforce is paramount, especially considering recent tragic incidents within our industry. This event, led by esteemed disaster preparedness and safety expert, Barbara B. Citarella, RN, BSN, MS, CHCE, NHDP-BC, promises to provide invaluable insights into workplace safety for home care professionals.
This interactive session will not only delve into the various safety challenges faced by home care workers but provide practical strategies for mitigating risks and enhancing situational awareness. From developing a comprehensive workplace violence prevention plan, to mastering de-escalation techniques, attendees will gain essential skills to navigate potentially hazardous situations effectively.
The member rate for this Master Class is just $100 ($150 for non-members). In addition, the session is approved for 3 CEUs, for both Nursing and PT.
Protecting our workforce is a shared responsibility, and attending this workshop is an essential step towards enhancing the safety and well-being of our colleagues. We urge all home care providers to attend this critical event.
