2023 NEHCC Call For Speakers:

Deadline to submit has been EXTENDED

Need a bit more time? Well, that’s fair

We’ve got a great pool of talks already awaiting review, but we want to have yours too! The new deadline is November 22, 2022– but this one is a hard deadline, since we’re going to need some time to read through these wonderful submissions and make those hard decisions.

What happens next?

What a great question!

After November 22, we’ll start the process of selecting talks and setting a schedule. We’ll first rank the talks using anonymized information about the submissions focusing on the content alone. That doesn’t finish the selection process, however. Choosing on content alone might leave us with three talks by the same person, or with poor representation from some aspects of our diverse community. After we’ve selected our first set of talks, we’ll do a second pass to intentionally shape a varied and representative group of speakers. The process takes time. We appreciate your patience.

Our goal is to contact every applicant during the last week of January 2023 to let you know one way or the other.

What are you waiting for?

Don’t wait until the last minute, unless that’s something that works well for you. (Fellow procrastinators of the world, unite!)

Submit Your Proposal

The Call for Speakers for the New England Home Care and Hospice Conference and Trade Show has been extended! The NEHCC committee welcomes Speaker Presentation applications from a diverse audience of home health and healthcare experts. The 2023 conference is being held from May 2-4, 2023 at the DoubleTree in Manchester, NH!

Proposals will be accepted until November 22, 2022.

Who can submit?

Anyone and everyone is welcome to submit a speaking proposal! We love to hear from staff at agencies, consultants, and vendors alike!

Conference Keynote Speakers Celebrate Strengths

New England Home Care & Hospice Conference & Trade

Keynote speakers Bill Dombi, the President of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, and Lindsay Doak, Senior Manager of Home Health Care at Berry Dunn, will delve into the 2021 Best Practices and Future Insights Study, physician and author Lynn Hallarman, MD will speak to the importance of direct caregivers and speaker Tyler Enslin of Direct Development Training will inspire attendees with his message of resilience and thriving in times of crisis.

Getting a “Clean” OASIS: Balancing Speed & Accuracy

May 12, 2022 @ 11:15 am 12:15 pm

The ability to promptly get a “clean” OASIS out the door is an ongoing challenge to the home health industry. The resources consumed by the QA process can be a financial strain on the organization – and even more of an issue in the PDGM environment. Focusing almost exclusively on the QA process will produce limited results and drive up costs. This session will address the three pillars that impact the achievement of a “clean” OASIS: 1) information collection by Intake; 2) data collection by clinicians; and 3) accountability of clinicians and QA.
