Wound Care Program development is an iterative, interactive process requiring continued persistent quality improvement efforts. This program will show your agency the way to success! Presenters will offer examples of intentional planning such as identifying the agency culture, engaging in targeted project development, developing operational strategies, and conducting follow-up analysis.
Rochelle Allen of Byram Healthcare will focus on key considerations such as staffing, training, delegation, getting buy-in from leaders, regulations and supply management. The agency participants will – based on their own experiences – highlight institutional challenges, barriers to success, as well as lessons learned and achievements by each agency, one small and the other large.
This session is for both those interested in creating a program, as well as those who already have one established.
Presenters: Rochelle Allen, Byram Healthcare; Carol Jones, BSN BA, WCOCN, WOC Nurse Team Leader VNA Care (MA); Jennifer Gullison, RN, MSNs, Clinical Director, Cornerstone VNA
